you know what i mean though.
it runs during the holidays.
maybe its like the 23rd or somethng, but the point is that Aqueduct always seems to be there for us.
same with Santa Anita.
when all anyone wants to talk about is the season of giving and sharing and all that holiday propaganda, Aqueduct is running.
I can just watch and wager on it and its an excuse for all my family to leave me alone b/c its something they dont get.

I know, and I agree, and was just joking about how the last few years they have taken a full week off around Christmas ( I think it was 9 full days last year ) and it is definitely the longest week of the year for me.

damn,
you are right.
they were off for a full week last year.
santa anita wasnt were they?
I remember playing that and maybe Calder right around Christmas.

thats the great thing about our game, b/c of the wagering aspect of it, there will almost always be some track running somewhere, at all times.

Santa Anita doesn't start until the day after Christmas ( it may have been the 27th this past year ). But, there is always Calder.

No doubt, racing is really a good friend in the winter. I mean, it's always a good friend but something about getting up late on a cold day in February, laying in bed, and betting the races.

Yeah, it is traditional for SA to open on the 26th with the Malibu. Seems like it is often one of the best races of the year.

I like The Big A. I make most of my money in the winter. I love Hollywood, Santa Anita and The Big A.
