I'm not aware of what Riot posted about Nascar, but saying one has the characteristics of something is NOT the same as saying one is in fact that something. Inflamatory perhaps but not the same. In any event, Riot is capable of addressing this herself but folks here sometimes seem unable to differentiate subtle differences. OK, just read the repost...again, my point remains, she uses the word "sometimes", not the same as "always" or "does".

even with the word sometimes... it would have infuriated me if I was the one accused.

I understand Nascar's anger about it. Plus the guy cant even make one post with out being jumped on. I think its excessive even if the guy does make dumb comments.

I'm beating a dead horse here but...she didn't "accuse" she implied at worse. Maybe not the best response, but when one is drawn into battle, one will respond in kind, to take her post in context you really have to look at events leading up to same. Now I'm doing what I said others have done, being distracted from the subject of the thread, so I will leave it at that.

Yes, I did, and if you and Nascar can't understand the deliberate difference in making those two different statements, I can't help you. Some of us care what words actually mean, and choose them thusly.

And the operative wording in that sentence was "domineering misogynistic jackass". I'd think the average person would take offense to that, the point of the sentence. And gee, I wonder why I was compelled to defend myself by calling him that?
