That's not what we are about. Nor should we be about taking to the streets to celebrate his death. It should be business as usual, our military did its job, case closed. Didn't we call those that took the streets to celebrate 9-11 animals?

Celebrating the murder of 3000 innocent people is not on the same footing as celebrating the death of the man who planned that mass murder.

Both are totally classless. Your rationalization is a joke. That is not what my country is about.

i thought for about two seconds that burial at sea was odd; but it makes perfect sense. as was said above, no shrine, no tomb, no memorial-no martyr for others to use as a way to gather strength. perfect solution.

altho i'm figuring some will complain that an islamist didn't get buried.

i'm not at all surprised that many are celebrating this mans death. he brought neverending pain to thousand and thousands of people. i don't see a similarity at all in those who celebrated the deaths of thousands of innocents as compared to a celebration of the death of the man who caused it all. he was a mass murderer. we've been after him for a decade, of course this end will provoke a response. how could it not? and yes, cheering the deaths of thousands of innocent people is a far worse thing than cheering the death of such a criminal.

You didn't say which country you are from. In America, we look out for our citizens and will bring to justice any who have done us harm.

In my America after handing out justice we dont need to do a Sack-Dance. Our military should get Kudo's for doing its job and Obama should get Kudos for doing something his predessor did not.

Even though Obama didn't pull the trigger he gave the order and this is his success.

For the first time since Obama became President I can say and mean, "a job well done Mr. President and thankyou!" Although you might want to check your info that the Paki government helped. Turns out they didn't as a bin Laden courier needed to be followed.

Some guy on CNN just did that. His son was killed in the WTC and he was being asked about it and he went nuts about how the US government sucks.

Spoken like a true Demotard. Has the thought that your fearless Presindent got lucky? Will you give all the credit to O'Bama like a true Demotard will?

Obviously I'm not a big fan of Obama, but he does deserve credit for them finally get Bin Laden. He did give the order to go through with the mission. He would have had egg on his face and more importantly a possible serious problem with Pakistan if there were nothing but civilians in that compound. Instead of kudos this morning he would be catching a lot of heat from Monday morning QB's.

But the real credit lies with the military and their tireless effort of tracking this guy for the last 10 years. It took longer than everyone wanted, but they finally got their man.

jms, I hope you know I wouldn't seriously send the body to our own religious extremists

I agree with you on the celebration part, I will not be out waving the flag today in celebration

I still wonder why we dumped the body so fast. Perhaps in some way to not offend the religious masses of the muslim world, is that the pathetic reason?

Its more about respecting the muslim religion. This is a political issue not a religious one right?

If the Muslim religion considers Osama bin Laden to be one of them, then the Muslim religion deserves no respect

If a man identifying himself as Christian were to rape, torture and kill a hundred little girls, would you call him a Christian? Would you say his carcass deserves respect?

I'm in agreement with you %1000. His he didn't deserve the burial he received. At least he received a burial with some respect.
