As for OBL, I have personally seen news clips from other countries, including Pakistan, where they discussed his death very casually, like everyone but us took it for granted.

Oddly enough, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, a pretty short time after talking about his death on TV, she was assassinated.
