The thing about throwing 100k at this was that yeah, your main ticket had to be played for basically $15-$20. This was a sequence where you could do that but would you have had Rachel's Girl in it? Throwing 100k out there was just silly. |

Until we see the tickets we won't know for sure, but doesn't it seem like they tried too hard to get impossible horses on the tickets (likely for "advertising" purposes)? Without focusing on more likely scenarios? Even if they had a negative view on one of the horses in the first five legs, I don't see how they shouldn't have been alive for at least a buck or two.
