That would obviously decrease the quality of the field a bit as Smart Sting in particular looks like a good filly.

I guess that would put the AE horses in, which is good for me because I excel at evaluating the merits of undefeated horses from Poland who are adding blinkers for the first time.

Still a very interesting race.

Of course, since I liked Diva Ash, she scratches. Winter Memories is a bet-against, it would appear. Interested to see how New Normal runs.

She certainly has to improve a bit but if Ruthenia is 8-1 or so she's an excellent bet. Her career started similarly to her full sister Rutherienne, who finished 4th in her 3YO debut in this same race. However, that was the only time Rutherienne missed the exacta off a 100-200 day layoff in her entire career.

Ruthenia has been working well at Payson all winter and could get forgotten a bit being on the outside with such a strong field assembled. Wouldn't surprise me if the winners of races like the Sands Point, Lake Placid, and Garden City are in this field.

I really like Winter Memories, but for the money, Parting Words looks to be sitting on a big race.

Sorry about your luck...my $$ is with you. That's a lot of baggage.

What a beast. Pumped to see what she can do the rest of the year. Big race out of Dos Lunas.
