When I hear "bastard child" I think of Freddy Kruger, I agree that the term demeans the wrong person.

Since we were talking about a Rev. I meant it in the biblical sense. The child (children) and very likely the mother(s) are innocent. It's Jesse who is at fault. And the poor young gay man being fired? Fogetaboutit!
