I think its just finally a combination of patience and management that has finally gotten them them, although not really as the collective Godolphin banner. Nonetheless the brothers are getting their acts together. You also have to give due to trainers Albertrani, Peitz,Harty,Mclaughlin,Henning,Drysdale, Mott and even Duggan when he oversaw the midwest string.

Having the horses actually train here and get acclimated has really been the turning point, now we see more often in the past 2 years or so alot of their horses prepping here or at Woodbine (Gr1 races) before BC races

I believe, as others do, that this is just the tip of the iceberg. They have bought much of the best bloodstock in the world and are in a position to breed the best animals that money can buy.

As long as oil stays around $70 a barrel, these guys will have money to burn on any horse they want. I think the Saudi prince at Juddmonte is going to also make it very difficult for Americans to dominate US racing any longer. The families with a net worth of 20-$50 million are going to have a tough time keeping up with the billionaires.

The Green Monkey is not owned by Godolphin
he is owned by Coolmore
Todd Pletcher doesn't train for Godolphin
Jazil & Bernadini trained in the states
unlike Discreet Cat
the only thing they did right
in trying to win the classic races
but still
it's not like they came close to winning the derby

If they beat Lael's Showing Up in two weeks at Colonial Downs with Carnera or Foreign Minister then I will be impressed.

Their 3yr old grass horse named Foreign Minister could be a good one too. I think he recently ran second to a 4yr old in a 133.4 mile. I expect to see FM at the $1 million race at Colonial.
