don't dismiss scorn so lightly.

i tried starting a discussion of formula 1 in the sports forum for two years running thinking there had to be a few brits here who might engage. i'd have killed for some scorn.

btw: australian gp is this weekend. i'll pretend i care about whatever you just posted if you pretend you care about kers, movable wings, and how tire wear is going to effect team strategy.

I must admit, I don't know much about Formula 1 racing, seen it on TV a few times...more interesting than CART though. I like that they race in driving rain...does that help?

a little. thanks.

i'm dating someone that watches american idol but fast forwards through all the backstory crap and only wants to see the singing. she talks about it sometimes so the names you mentioned are vaguely familiar. and i watched one episode with her to see steven tyler.

so...that's my contribution to your thread. wish it were more but it's all i've got.

Likewise, thanks!
I miss Simon but really big fan of Steven and JLo. Steven adds spice to show, never quite sure what will come out of his mouth.

Jacob Lusk is by far the best singer but he's not really marketable.

Yeah he's got the voice but not sure he's suited for today's market either. He'll be a force though as long as he avoids over-use of his high range as he can over sing a song still.
