obama should be at that, not on the latin america tour. joe biden could have gone there instead. world leaders are meeting, not their cabinet members. i disagree with this move.

you'd have to think that the meeting about libya would also have included a more wide ranging discussion about the middle east and the current climate in several countries. egypt, bahrain, yemen, saudia arabia, etc. we are a rudderless ship right now. our president has his finger in the air, testing the winds. waiting for others to act and then somewhat backing their play, while not really doing a thing. oh, gotta go to south america, sorry guys. thousands of people trying to become free, which is something we're supposed to be pushing for, and he ignores it.

Yeah but there was a difference. Rodgers was surrounded by competent co-workers.

Obama? Not so much.

yeah, on second thought, maybe biden shouldn't go anywhere...

interesting that we keep having to pass temporary budget measures to keep the wheels of govt turning. when will a budget be presented and voted on? or are they going to keep passing spending bills every few weeks for the next few years?

The Libyan operations are quite a convenient distraction from the Fukushima reactor 3 with the plutionium core going unstable. This is "Wag the Dog" all over again.

They needed something to break so that it could stop being highlighted that there are no radiation figures released to the public, yet water in Tokyo is contaminated, as well as milk and spinach (and who knows what else) for a large radius around the plant, and the radiation level hasn't finished climbing yet.

Hillary is finished. Have you seen her recently? She's aged 20 years.

Unfortunately, you are probably right...she has said repeatedly that she has no interest in running again or in being Secretary of State after Obama gets re-elected.
