It's not like I'm a huge supporter of President Obama's politics, as I've said before, he's way to conservative for me. It's just that the level of pure hatred that is directed his way is disconcerting....issues with his policies are one thing, a thread critical of his basketball brackets, wording of his speeches etc etc becomes way past trite at some point. I am more concerned with his failure to support unions for example. As President, he must balance a lot...he was known as a huge basketball fan long before he was elected, it's hardly a surprise that he shows interest now. On the surface it may seem trivial to some but this constant Obama-bashing creates a climate unhealthy to this nation.

It was the EXACT same way with Bush and the liberals hating him.

It will always be the same way when both sides hate each other equally and dont seem to want to improve the country, just defeat each other.
