I watched it a few times... I just think Ramon got stuck in a bad spot. He was in perfect position until the race fell into his lap and everyone swarmed. I generally prefer he waits in a spot like that, than go five wide onto the far turn. Today was a prep, not the real deal yet. Elite Alex can move forward off his wide trip too.

It gets a lot more difficult when you can't see and can't remember anything.

Did you hear the call of the race prior to the Southwest? After the Asmussen horse swept to the lead, it took Wallace several seconds to figure out who it was.

You know, you have the advantage of 3 camera angles in HD, etc etc etc ad nauseum. I'm sure it's a lot harder than you think in real time, etc etc etc.
