Thanks for posting; I'd never seen that before.

Loved listening to the booing as he ran. When the choice is between gambling and witnessing a great horse's walkover, gambling will win out. God bless New Yorkers. Going forward I'll have to be less judgmental about the time Philly fans booed Santa Claus.

I thought I heard the sportscasters saying it was because the walkover meant a race they couldn't wager on.

Maybe so...

It seems so out of place looking back at the race.

Milfer Farm is high atop a windswept hill in upstate NY. Very scenic and Bid is buried in his entirety next to Cure The Blues.
