It's the part of the bill that releases hospitals from EMTALA requirements. But that doesn't matter any more. Because ...-[/url]
Except it's not and was never there. The entire bill, less than two pages is available online. Nowhere in the bill was EMTALA even mentioned. It was manufactured by the left. In fact as I said the bill assures that privately insured women are exempt and both private and State entities providing such coverage are not interferred with. In addition minors, victims of incest, and any woman disabled or a victims of rape are also exempted.

Sigh ... yes it is there, it is the language in the bill that amends the PPACA. No, it does not mention EMTALA directly, that is the indirect result of the amendments if adopted.

As I said, however, this bill is toast until the Republicans follow their own rules

But that's not what I said, Dell. You can't simply ignore the rest of it. What I really said, was:

Dell, if you can't understand, "If A then B, and if B then C, so if A then C" is true, I can't help you.

I asked the question where is EMTALA mentioned?

You answered with it isn't but....

I objected and the Judge said you answered the question and I rested. Sorry it's in the jury's hands now.

It would be nice if what you said were true - because then the Republicans wouldn't be jumping through hoops to try and keep the result, but change the language. You should call them and tell them the Dems just made it up! Because at this point, the GOP seems to believe that's what it says, too.

But again, as the House Republicans are apparently unable to follow their own rules (that they just voted upon), and have placed silly and unrealistic restrictions on the ability of themselves bring bills out of Committee, it appears they have shot themselves in the foot and this bill is stuck in committee <vbg>

Your are going to try and say that the Dems follow the rules?
