![]() Well, now we know who will be favored in the BC Classic in 2015 and/or 2016 and will finish second. It's going to be interesting to see how, if it's a male and Moss keeps it, how they'll sneak him into all of the filly restricted races over and over again. And we can count him out of the Derby because, well, the Rockies will still be there.

![]() Who knows when we're going to see Take Control again. Her daughter Arienza just posted a work the other day. She's a 3yo maiden. It's a shame Azeri didn't take to Storm Cat her first season. Not sure if it was his fertility winding down or her coming off a campaign and being given (prepare for technical jargon) all the things they give to deal with fillies and mares having cycles. There are a lot of theories about champion race mares and how you get situations like Genuine Risk's reproductive issues.

Not anytime soon; I posted this in the TC thread, but he's off again for 60 days with shin problems. The horse is fragile as glass - this is about the 4th time they've had to stop on him. |
