How can their be a copyright on a commonly defined term?
So, say I made a movie and called it 'Water'. Would anyone who tried to name a horse 'Water' be subjected to copyright violations? |

I came across Cape Colony and Great Trek when I was looking up Voortrekker to remind myself what the history was.
Both are available and relate to South Africa--the Voortrekkers, specifically. I don't think these came up in the past. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Colony http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_trek Last edited by Merlinsky : 01-31-2011 at 09:18 PM. |

How about honoring all of the Jewish members of DT and simply change the 'u' in Johannesburg to an 'e', thus making it Johannesberg?
