Gilgandra was a fun, grassroots Aussie meet. The outriders had to chase a few wallabies off the track before one of the races.

Charlotte (Queen's Cup) is on the NSA circuit. The grandstand-like viewing area is beautifully terraced and had excellent sight lines for viewing. Great day to go racing, albeit there is no wagering.

I enjoyed returning to Monmouth Park. I hadn't been there in over 20 years. I went to the mixed meet in September and it was an excellent day of racing.

On the UK visit, I was thrilled to have the chance to make it back to Cheltenham. Cheltenham is in my top 5 world tracks visited (of 291) and its level of jump racing is first-class. Weather-wise, it was a typical rainy/windy UK day, but the racing was still fantastic.
