Default Kelvin Taylor
Kelvin Taylor, son of Pats RB Fred Taylor, rushed for 213 yds and 4 TD's in Belle Glades Day's 27-20 win in the Florida state championship.

Granted, it was the 1B Championship (very small schools), but Taylor is a freshman.

Sorry, Vol Jack, no truth to the rumor that the Orange Pride gals made the trip for the game.

Update on former NFL player's kids.

Tampa Plant won the 5A (Florida's biggest schools) title last night. The first touchdown was scored by Eric Dungy. Also, James Wilder, Jr rushed for 137 yards and a TD.

Sophmore Kelvin Taylor ran for 248 yds and 5 TD's in Belle Glades Day's 42-35 win in today's Florida State Class 1B Championship.

Isn't Belle Glades a real sketchy area.............If I'm not wrong about this why does Fred Taylor's son live in such a low income/high crime area?

Very sketchy, but this is a private school, that's why it is so small. The public schools in the area are Glades Central and Pahokee, but they are relatively small too. They have a huge rivalry. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports/...17-211704.html

It is where Fred grew up, so I assume he lives there, or near there, in the off season.

James Wilder, Jr ran for 215 and 5TD's, blocked an extra point and caused a fumble in Tampa Plant's semifinal win last night. He is off to FSU next year.

i heard wilder jr wanted to go to Bama but CNS would Not guarantee him to start as a freshman..... FSU did.

....and he is not even close to starting at FSU. Devonte Freeman is the starter and he is a Freshman. I would look for Wilder to transfer to find playing time.

i watch Plant play early in the season to see the QB, he committed to Bama. i was Not impressed by the QB or wilder. wilder Might be as better DB.
