I'd say Giacomo was still the bigger "upset" in that there were actually a couple horses in the sophomore class of 2005 that ran in the Derby and actually ended up having some talent.

Giacomo was actually one of the winter book favorites for the Derby after his Hollywood Futurity effort.

He wasn't totally hopeless, but from his preps and subsequent career he was basically a bridesmaid.
