What do you think the President of the United States should do right now, Dell? Exactly? If you don't find the above acceptable, what, exactly, do you want to see?

He needs to come out and say we are either with the S. Koreans or not. Period. Then let the S. Koreans act and we back! N. Korea is clearly the aggressor and our ignoring the torpedoing of the S. Korean ship is now coming back to haunt us.

God forbid we ever get attacked. I can see it now, "we are in the initial stages of consultation."

well can we agree sanctions don't work and military excercises is like puffing out a chest, rarely works in a fight.

No.

Oh, China has no influence at all on N. Korea, Dell. None at all. What China thinks doesn't matter in the least.

Snort.

Have a nice Thanksgiving, Dell. Maybe someone will a start a war you can be thankful for.

Or maybe you could be thankful if we get attacked and simply turn the other cheek? Or even better make the attackers citizens, then school, cloth, house and provide medical care to them?

Spoken like someone living in a vacum. We have war raging on 2 fronts Del, it is not a video game where we can hit reset when we make it 3 and see all the negative consequences. And if we do make it 3 is it Obama's fault that we sink deeper into this financial mire supporting it?

There is no war "raging". Iraq has been very quiet and Afganistan is hardly a raging war. The idea that the US or its allies are vunerable because of troops in the Middle East is not grounded in any sort of fact. The truth is that a conventional war is far easier for us to fight if it came to that because of our weaponary and the fact that we will have a clearly defined enemy. Rooting out terrorists is far tougher than leveling N. Korea though the presence of China makes it unlikely that we would even do that.

Well the appeal to China didn't work. Instead we have a warning issued.

Personally I think Obama needs to tell S. Korea fight or surrender. But I'm sure he'll issue a 'double important' appeal to China and 'more' needless sanctions for N. Korea. Heck if he's really mad he'll send Hillary to the UN in New York for 1000 star sanctions.

Because the world needs another war. Brilliant.

Edit: and you can be the first to join up and go fight, okay!

we definately cant be jumping into other people's wars right now. we should be cooling tempers instead of escalating them.
