It will be no more competitive than any of his races, even if George Washington and David Junior take to the dirt.

You guys who dislike the trainer and the owners need to learn that horses don't know who their trainers and owners are. They are animals and the fastest ones win.
Wow, great observation. Funny how Secretariat lost, though. I'm sure all his wins were inevitable, too.

Secretariat lost when he was not 100%. They don't run them today unless they are 100%. Today they run them 8x a year and the scratch them if there is the slightest chink in their armor.

A few people I have spoken to think Bernardini is going to break Secretariat's track record too. Is he better, not yet, but maybe.

Secretariat set his record in May of his three year old year. And how do these "experts" that you know figure he can go that fast when he just went 2:01 at a track where the track record is 1:58:1? Belmont's 10 f races are run at a turn and a half as opposed to two turn, which makes it faster by at least a second. So you figure hes got about 14 lengths improvement in him? yeah, ok, sure.

If Bernardini is to run all out he will shatter Secretariat's record, its just a damn shame he wont be able to break the record for 12f

LOL!!
You need help, but we already knew that. He hasn't even come close to shattering records. But YOU KNOW that he will. Should we base this on your vast pp's as a great handicapper on messageboards?

Threads on Sheiks, Bernardini retiring and Polytrack = more mind numbing than watching the NLCS

When a track is souped-up ... even a nonentity like Monarchos can shade 2:00 for 10f.

If the track is legitimate ... Bernardini won't come close to the record ... if it's a Monarchos track ... anything can happen.

I wonder if the track will be souped-up on Breeder's Cup Day.

From what I hear the track is going to be as fair as possible. It wont be like concrete when it is Derby day, but a nice track. Usually when the track is like this, the rail is dead. Of course this all depends on the weather.

Euro, what are they going to say? They we will soup the hell out of it. C'mon....Maybe it will be perfect, but they don't even admit the horse s.hit they pull on Derby Day which in 2001 cost horses their careers and even lives. Someone should've been arrested for that.

I have some land to sell you too. Where did you hear this anyway? I doubt they are going to comment on the track. With Henny Hughes and Bernardini running, both track records are in trouble. I can assure you some people in the KY breeding business would love to see Bernardini take down that track record.

Is that more inside info? Thanks man, I would never have guessed that they would scrape a track on a big day down there, thanks a lot.

I just figured out who "georgewashington" is ...

... yup ... it's our old friend. This guy has had more names than a bunko artist ... and is just as full of bunk.

But hey ... he is quite lovable in his own sad way.

This board is getting better every day! First I had a guy telling me that he could spot "illegally enhanced" horses by looking in thier eyes. Now we have a supposedly informed poster saying that his informed friends are predicting track records!!!
