You're right but one would think a god-fearing and supposedly passionate man like Pat Day, one who has certainly seen the suffering the weight scale has caused his bretheren, would have been more benevolent. Just seems a little hypocritical to me.

Then again his self-righteousness always turned me off as much as his riding did. Was he EVER on the rail at Keeneland?

I know he was on the rail with Summer Squall in the Preakness when he turned the tables on Unbridled. That was a fantastic ground saving ride.

The only time I remember Keeneland standing in for Pimlico was Seabiscuit.

He was, however, also on the rail in the Preakness with Easy Goer when he shamefully got him beat.

I'm sure from your posts that your self-righteousness was BETTER than his self-righteousness!
