The difference between the Democaratic plan and the Republican plan in a nutshell has everything to do with big government in that Dems. want/support government jobs, regulation, and government support for everything from endless unemployment benefits to housing and health care.

The Repubs want government to get out of the way and let the private sector do the hiring and provide benefits whether they be in the form of salary or healthcare etc. You know like it's been for hundreds of years?

The exit polls seem to indicate that most voters want government to spend a lot more money on jobs programs while simultaneously cutting spending and the deficit without raising taxes. In other words, people are stupid and want the impossible.

Nice catch.

I have corrected it.

Normally I use a computer that does the little red squiggly underline when I make a typo, but this one doesn't.....so I'm prone to errors.
