![]() Board said she was ready but that was a really nice effort after breaking dead last and being 6 wide.

![]() It really was impressive on many levels. I look forward to her next start in 2012.

![]() Why is it hard for people to include details in a post when they describe a nice debuter?

![]() It was a wide move so that obviously needs to be factored in, and she did close nicely, but when you compare her effort to the other 6f races on the card (which were faster) is it really that impressive?

![]() For a first start of a 2 yr old filly, I thought so, but who am I? I'll learn not to say something "positive" about the sport again.

![]() I'm not saying it was a bad debut. It wasn't. But the fact that she ran (a bit) slower than another first-time starter (Tikkarita), a 2yo claimer (Nina Fever), and a $16k claimer (Go Patrick Go) on the same card may be significant when determining exactly how "impressive" the effort was.

![]() Any firster on Poly needs to be taken with a grain of salt. That goes without saying actually.

She won her debut at Kee in April by 8 lengths going 4.5f in a pretty fast time. |
