Because that's my opinion? I prefer dirt racing at a mile and a quarter, for horses that have been pointed towards this specific race since the day they were foaled, over turf racing at a mile and a half. Just because I rank it 2nd doesn't imply I consider it unimportant.

Let's rephrase the question... which one would you rather win?

Oh, OK. I thought you were basing your opinion on proximity to your current geographical location.

I guess I should have known better since you didn't say the Melbourne Cup was way down at the bottom of your list.
