Once people get details of their 2011 Insurance Plans from their employers.

Absolutely fucl<ing terrible.

I thought my insurance was bad this year.

They went from giving us 3 options to only 1 option this year.

They elimintated the plans that actually covered shi.t because of a fucl<ing Cadillac Tax (believe me.. these "top shelf" programs are no cadillac's.. maybe a fucl<ing Kia at best)

doubled the deductable.

doubled the out of pocket maximum.

If you have a spouse / child? forgettaboutit

Its basically a plan that will be beneficial to no one except for maybe 2% of the employees in this company made up of 8,000.

Thank you Mr. Fucl<ing President. & GFY congress.

I'd be really surprised if United Healthcare is the only insurance company out there bending the working public over like this.

And good luck to any responsible working folks out there who ever plan on starting a family!

oh I knew it was going to make the health care industry in this country much worse.

I may have been naive in hoping we werent going to get fucl<ed this soon.

Obama was right when he said he'd give up being re-elected to pass the "major reform".

and I still think the worst part of the law is that it will discourage the young bright minds from entering the health professions.

So we will all be covered, but everyone will be paying for anything anyway because of deductables.. but the quality of the actual care will be **** like the rest of these "progressive" countries.

There's no reason for health care companies to raise their premiums. They're only doing it because they don't want to lose the gigantic profits they were already making. They can still profit (even if slightly less) without changing anything.

I don't agree with everything Obama does, especially regarding immigration, but I sure will never vote for a fear mongering, racist, discriminatory Republican.

had a HRA.. they will not offer an HRA plan this year. Only one HSA plan with a 2400 deductable (for 1 individual.. families are screwed). and a very high out of pocket max. & their match for the FSA is crap.

they didnt really raise the actual premiums too high. they just eliminated the opportunity to be able to purchase an actual real plan. everyone is stuck with the same shi.t hole plan.

Major new health reform benefits take effect today to help keep health insurance companies accountable, lower health care costs, guarantee more health care choices, and enhance the quality of health care for all Americans.

Starting today, insurers will be required to:

* Keep you covered when you get sick: Simple mistakes or typos will no longer be grounds for insurance companies to cancel your insurance.

* Cover kids with pre-existing conditions: Your kids can no longer be denied health coverage just because they have a pre-existing condition like hay fever, asthma, or previous sports injuries. This protection extends to all plans, except "grandfathered" plans in the individual market.

* Allow young adults to stay on their parents' plan up to age 26: Even if their first few jobs don't provide health benefits, your kids can still remain covered by your insurance.

* Remove lifetime limits: You will no longer need to worry about your health insurer limiting the amount of coverage available through their plan if you face an expensive medical condition. This will help Americans who develop chronic conditions from taking drastic measures to avoid medical bankruptcy

* Phase out annual limits: Many plans include annual dollar limits on how much medical coverage can be obtained per year. On all non-"grandfathered" plans in the individual market, these limits will be phased out over the next three years.

For any insurance plan that goes into effect after September 23, 2010, your insurance company must:

* Pay for preventive care like mammograms and immunizations: Addressing problems before they start can help keep you healthier, and new insurance plans will now cover many preventative tests and immunizations without any copayment.

* Give you a better appeals process for insurance claims: Now you'll have a guaranteed and fair path to help you receive the benefits you paid for if insurance companies deny your claim.

* Let you choose your own doctor: Health reform makes it clear that you can choose any available participating primary care provider as your provider, and any available participating pediatrician to be your child's primary care provider.

* Provide easier access to OB-GYN services: Women will no longer be required to have a referral from a primary care provider before seeking coverage for obstetrical or gynecological (OB-GYN) care from a participating OB-GYN specialist.

* Allow you to use the nearest emergency room without penalty: If an emergency arises while you're away, you will no longer have to drive home to your in-network provider to receive in-network benefits.

Many other new benefits of the law have already taken effect, including rebate checks for seniors in the donut hole and tax credits for small businesses. Keep watching, as more rights, protections and benefits for Americans are on the way now through 2014.

Just found out it is an 8,000 deductable for families. 2400 for just me.

So I'm going to pay them, & pay my doc bills anyway.

This health care bill is like taking 15 steps back to take 2 steps forward. We will still be 13 steps in the hole.

Actually it did. I asked you if you bothered to ask your company if they cut funding to their employees health plans. Far more likely that your company tightening it's belt is the source of your decreased health care plan choices, than Obama.

Now it's probably time for you to swear and curse at me, and then blame me for causing your rudeness and stupidity.
