I don't know about key game, but the positive is that the offensive played like absolute crap and they still had a chance to win the game on the last drive. Plus if they meet them again in the playoffs, they will have Santonio Holmes on the field (barring injury). I also really believe that they will get the running game going. I think that you will eventually see Tomlinson as the starter, but they will be able to run the ball which should open up the passing game for them as well. The thing that would bother me the most if I was a Jets fan, is the lack of adjustments that the coaching staff seemed to make in the game. It really didn't seem that they changed the gameplan at all, when a little tinkering might have been enough to win that game last night. It was a tough opening night matchup for them. They basically played a clone of themselves, but with a much better passing attack. You just have to hope that your own passing game eventually matures and is able to open up and put some points on the board consistently. If they could ever get that going, they would become a real threat.
