I am so sick of this pitching staff wasting our offensive barrages.

The hitters gave them no digit runs last night and the pitchers get pounded for one.

Sickening,...no excuse.

The Browns are now officially a charitable not for profit organization.

I guess Jerome Harrison has done enough for Browns brass. Gaining 500 plus yards the last 3 games last year earned him 9 carries in the season opener. I'm dying to know what he's done that everyone from top down hates his guts in the organization.

Jeff Logan was my favorite white tailback. (one of the legions of North Canton Logans)..think he played in between Archie Griffin and Ron Springs in the OSU running back timeline.

college Otis was before my time. I remember him in the NFL though...him and Metcalf's Dad were very good backfield.

At least the starting pitcher has only given up 7 over the first 3.

Go ged 'em!

They're making up for last night's game big time. One whole baserunner through 8 innings! Incredible drama in the 9th. Brantley's 14 game hitting streak on the line. Dimaggio not safe yet!

In the end the Browns had a chance to extend the longest winning streak in the NFL with a win over the horrendous Bucs. They decided to change their philosophy this year. In their 4 game winning streak last year their run to pass ratio:

37-19
49-18
46-17
49-11

yesterday against Tampa:

21-38

Obviously they can't keep with the ridiculous ratio they established out of necessity last year, but they became a much better team by becoming a running team. Jake Delhomme stinks bad. Perhaps not the level of Brady-Derek Quinn-Anderson bad but still bad. They need to run a lot. In their 4 game winning streak they ran 74 percent of the time. Yesterday they ran 35 percent. Tampa had the worst run defense in the NFL last year. Yeah, they make sense.

More fine work.

Remember the Cincy game just a few years back..down there?

That would have clinched a play off spot.Very windy....they threw like the dickens.DA had 4 picks, I think...and they lost, like 42-38.No?
