That actress was 17 when she made the film.

Before you wave happy white flags. Understand a few things. The nominal increase in the market the last month is directly attributable to the dollar taking a dump. Almost to a T....At the same time the long bond is still well under 3%, not a good sign and gold is at an all-time record....If you think this is good long term you zero understanding of economics.

Thanks for the lecture, Dr. Doom

Here's my homework:

Dow … 10,860 … up 2.4% on the week

S&P 500 … 1,149 … up 2.0%

I think it deserves an A+.

Hold on here. Regardless of what is going on in "the real economy", I would say that Smooth has been right on the money here.

This discussion is purely about Equities...NOT ECONOMICS. Regardless of all of the extraneous factors, Smooth Operator has managed to make a pretty healthy profit over the last 18 months while many of us have been on the sidelines waiting for the American Dream to crumble.

I know that if the Dow was sitting at 5k like many had predicted by now that Smooth would be a huge laughingstock.

"Don't fight the fed". And most of us fought it and some are still fighting and the writing is clearly on the wall.

Im still not getting in
