He supposedly had a 500k offer on the horse, if it is real money, and actually a real offer, he needs to sell that horse to help set him up for his future.

Unless the guy is a multi millionaire, which I doubt since he didn't have the full $5k to pay for the horse, this is a no brainer now.

I completely understand why he didn't do it before, but they are like tomatos, they eventually go bad

Well the horse is his wife so she probably has the final say on being sold. Just depends if she was faithful to him in human form.

Thomas, have you seen this dude? He has a foot in the grave already. All the money in the world won't change that. I hope he just keeps her.

Don't call me Thomas.

I don't disagree, but alot of people have had one foot in the grave and went on to enjoy the next 20 years on a beach somewhere drinking pina coladas with a 24 year old girl with huge jugs

Remember how many times you told me last summer that I didn't understand pace, "Joey S"?

He reiterated today in the winner's circle that he won't sell her.

The Frankel/Gann combo probably would have employed the gold digging stripper to work her magic and put a full court press on the poor guy right after the horse won its debut by a city block at FL.

Maybe they weren't that slick - but it sure felt like it when they were still alive and going good.

I found these two paragraphs from the NY Times article amusing:

Hunt agreed and Snyder’s one-horse stable was back in business. But his filly still needed a name. He came up with Lisa’s Booby Trap, named in part after his wife and in part after a strip club in Florida he admits he likes to frequent.

Working with Lisa’s Booby Trap, Snyder figured out that the reason she was having so many problems was because of her feet. Not only was one a clubfoot, but another was inordinately flat, which caused her every movement to be awkward. Snyder experimented with different shoes and found a combination that solved the problem.

I wonder if the bleeding heart club will still find it a heartwarming story now and not one coming from a complete whackjob.

So now we have a reincarnated wife that's a horse with a name partly due to a strip club. If I didn't know any better I'd wager that he's in the Tea Party.

Mista Sunshine. Even if he is a weirdo, it's still a cool story/horse.

I'm holding out support for the future reincarnation of Christopher Hitchens. He'll smoke Booby Trap and drink a handle of Old Charter when he's done.
