What might've been. Good run at 24:1.

DEL R2:

#7, Daniel Moon, should be able to handle these off the cutback. #4, Pistol Rules, likeliest 2nd horse, though I supposed we also have to use the 2, Nervous Marvin, Lake's horse, presently the favorite. I don't like the 8, a turf sprinter stretching out and adding blinkers, that is also taking money.

Exacta: 7 / 2, 4

Tri: 7 / 4 / 2

The 8 and the 9 were both coming out of turn sprints and the 8 was adding blinkers YET the 2 is allowed to get away with a 24.4 1st quarter going 7.5F. The Lake magic.

7 just noses out the 4 for 2nd.

Wager Type Winning Numbers Paid
$1.00 Exacta 2-7 $10.60
$1.00 Trifecta 2-7-4 $56.60

Nothing like leaving a ton of money on the table. Ridiculously good TRI.

SAR R3:

#4, Mighty Tuff, win @ >= 10:1

Dominguez either beats me or doesn't get it done for me. Let's see if this'll change here.

I did, thanks.

I even had him in the contest to break an 0 for 13 start.

Nice job Fats, glad the Pletcher rat got beat at least.

My horse must not have gotten enough Hushion juice.

I don't get it. He wasn't 10-1 or higher. What's the point of an odds threshhold then?

It must be nice to have Repole money and be able to drop expensive horses into claimers to get wins.

Do not ever call TFM out, he has his system AND IT WORKS.

I don't think he was calling him out. It's a very fair question. What's the point of specifing a play based on odds then?

It's what I set my conditional wagering for @ 0 minutes to post time. I anticipate horses going up or down. In this case, at the time I bet, I anticipated the horse going up, as it was consistently 9:1.

When it got hit, but not hit significantly, I overrode the constraint. It's pretty much a coin toss for these cases. Sometimes I don't get my odds and they win; others they lose.

Nothing furtive about it at all. I was asked after the race if I'd bet the horse, and, in this case I had.
