How about a triple DQ in a 4.5 furlong race?

Welcome to Penn National's 1st race yesterday...

The 5th place finisher was placed 2nd.

Wow. That is crazy. I've never seen a triple disqualification. Between those two races the last two days, those are two things that I've never seen in 30 years.

In both those races the stewards are just over-officiating.

The horse that got disqualified at Penn (for coming in at the break) definitely came in more than the horse I bet at Colonial Downs. The horse I bet at Colonial only came in 1 1/2 paths, which isn't that unusual for a 2 year old coming out of the gate.

I saw a double DQ once at FPX, like 20 years ago or so.

I needed a quintuple DQ however.
