"Whatever" was my short response, Brian, to all the condescension and bull...then your reference to white men being the most disadvantaged, because apparently everything is racial with you. It was not a reference to the woman losing her job, especially if the coverage was misleading.

I did mean to compare Breitbart and Soros. If Breitbart is bad, he is no worse than Soros. Or don't you agree?

Who is the one to started a thread falsely accusing someone of being a racist with nothing to back it up, and then trying to make some moral equivalence between costing a woman her job with false allegations of racism and Daily Kos & George Soros. My rightful condescension is with your continued insistence that this administration is somehow overtly racist and feeling so sorry for yourself for being a white male, because that's the toughest thing to be these day now that racist Blacks are running everything. I dunno, is there a long history of George Soros being a compulsive liar, editing videotapes to make them say what the entire video doesn't actually say, and costing people their jobs for it? If so, then yes, they're equally bad. If not, Breitbart will continue to inhabit the lowest rung of lying scum in all of politics. If so, then he'll have company.

seriously though, didnt the White House do the same thing as Joey? Jumped to conclusions and fired her without looking into it?

Absolutely, which is what I said on the other thread where this came up -- but Joey's need to play the race card was important enough to start another thread even though we had spent two pages talking about it in another one.

It's a f*cking disgrace what they did to her, and it makes me furious at the administration, believing that some blowhard scumbag like Breitbart would ever offer anything honest that had to do with the administration, and immediately take his word without getting her side of the story, or bothering to do their homework, or stopping to realize the source of the video was a guy who couldn't tell the truth if you asked him if the sky was blue.

Exactly. Why do you think Breitbart didn't release the entire tape? Not good. Just hysterical and loud. I'm not even sure he "fooled" the White House as much as he took advantage of the fact that they're spineless and still seem to care what conservatives think about them, along with the fact that if anyone can try to drum up the idea that Obama being in the White House means that reverse racism is suddenly a huge epidemic, then that puts the White House in a bad spot because it leads to terrified people like Rupert and Joey running around hysterically worrying that their numero uno status is about to be taken away when Obama institutes (the inevitable, let's be honest) mandatory white slavery.

1st - I don't believe she should be fired

2nd - did all the people applauding her early on in the speech know that she was going to say it wasn't about race? Did they know that she was going to admit she was mis-characterizing the whole event, if it ever happened?
