![]() no, he wasn't. an excellent sire. but when you look at the effect northern dancer and his sons have had world wide, it's amazing. and with the book size he had...danzig carried on his legacy, also with covering only about 50 mares at the most. hard to judge alydar tho, since he had a much shorter career than slew. of course no one expected much of slew with his less than stellar pedigree. he didn't just rise above it on the track, but in the shed as well. |
