I just don't understand with that realization how one would come up with even the thought of Israel being greatest human right violator in the world?

I don't know why Riot doesn't just admit that she made a mistake. I will admit that at one time I assumed that Carter had a pretty good understanding of the Middle East. I thought he did a fairly good job on the Middle East when he was President.

I was literally flabergasted when I heard some of the statements he made in later years such as the one about Israel being the greatest human-rights violator in the world. I have lost all respect for Carter. After listening to some of his statements in later years, I think he is totally clueless on the Middle East. Not only is he clueless, he is also an obvious Israel-hater. It took him a while to come out of the closet, but he eventually did.
