![]() I hope so but lets just hope Prez doesn't go in tomorrow (a month late) and declare mission accomplished. The cleanup- or failure to execute a plan to preemptively address it is my biggest problem with this disaster. It's too late for a lot of areas now, and by some accounts damage could have been mitigated to a degree. No excuse for that from anyone and if BP wasn't getting the job done, the government should have had the courage to step in. Complete failures all the way around.

![]() Fixing oil disaster my responsibility, Obama says
President Barack Obama defensively and sometimes testily insisted on Thursday that his administration, not oil giant BP, was calling the shots in responding to the worst oil spill in the nation's history. "I take responsibility. It is my job to make sure this thing is shut down," Obama declared at a news conference in the East Room of the White House. The Gulf of Mexico oil spill dominated the hour-long session. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_obama

![]() Talk is cheap when you haven't proceeded with any urgency for a crisis in the past month.
