The simple point I was trying to make is that botiuque meets are successful because they are short and unique. I love Saratoga but if they raced into November I would think that would be a bad idea as well.
Del Mar is already Santa Anita to the south as far as quality of racing but it is the experience of the short meet that everyone aims for. Adding another month or more would wear thin quickly. Paul
