Yes, when Republican didn't mean confusing the duely elected President of the US with a "regime", when having the lowest taxes in decades weren't falsely touted as "Taxed To Death", when people realized that Medicare was a government-run program, and when candidates for Governor of Alabama didn't answer ridiculous charges that their support for teaching evolution in schools was abhorent with, " That's wrong, I always believed in God and the Bible and Creationism".
