![]() To turn what you were talking about into "handicapping" would require weighting the combos--some bare $0.50 bets, others hit multiple times; you could have dozens and dozens of different tickets required. I am sure somebody (more than one) has a program that allows them to do this, when their analysis (weighting their subjective opinion about the relative likelihood of a top two finish for each horse) is input and the projected exactas are known. That sh!t is out of my league, however.

![]() For me, I would bet as much money on this race as I have time invested in handicapping it. If you treat it as you would any other race, bet the amount of money you would normally bet. If you have a reasonable amount of time put in, bet accordingly. It would be extremely ambitious to try anything other than exactas and win/place. A few cheap tri combos wouldn't be out of line either. The better way to go in my opinion would be wrapping a pk3 around the race.
