If the government buys drugs like you want them to how are they going to help pay for your health insurance under this new crappy health insurance bill that passed. I was asking that question because letswastemoney feels he deserves a free ride because he has pre existing condition. If the government pays for the drugs where is the money going to come from to pay for his free ride in regards to health insurance.

Over the last two days I finally realized that Nascar actually just doesn't understand how a site like DT.com works. It is all a big puzzle to him. He was baffled by the idea of a signature yesterday, and now he seems unable to grasp the idea that different threads are about different topics.
Let's not all just belittle him for this lack of competence. That's unnecessarily cruel. Somebody simply needs to mentor him.

I meant that if the government sold the illegal drugs, the drug wars might stop. I worded it poorly.

Actually, it doesn't even have to be the government offering drugs.

Let anyone sell the less dangerous drugs like marijuana legally, and the drug wars might at least be reduced.

People would become addicted, but people are going to buy illegal drugs whether it's illegal or not, so the current system doesn't work.

I was just curious as to where the money would come from for health insurance if money was used to buy drugs. I do agree with your statement that people are going to buy drugs whether its legal or illegal.

i think they should legalize drugs for several reasons. one, it would hurt the drug cartels, two it would help budgets as the need for jail space and guards would drop dramatically, and three-the money made by taxing the stuff would add to tax revenue.
