Finished The Haunting In Cambria.

Awful book.

The thrust of it really was abysmal...outrageous,in fact. "Out there" is putting it lightly.I never once felt frightened..at all. Some of the character interplay was pretty good, but that's about it.Only I could draw anything from it, and boy did I.

The coincidences, order of them, what they try to spell out.. is beyond comprehension.

But it's there.

They all make statements and hint at things to come.

The later is still indecipherable.

But it all draws nearer...everything does. The Big Thing, too.

What if it all materializes on May 1?

What if it's an Entitlement,IceBox exactanator?

What if it really is hip to be square????

Nothing like a klutzy intrusion from the Vanilla Wafer.

Speaking of some such;don't you think Dark Side of the Moon would be ahead of its time, even now?

Do this....go down an interstate in the wee hours of the morning. It helps if you have been on the road for at least 14 consecutive hours, but anyways----plug in DarkSide. The whole thing sets off a mass of introspective, but go to where Money fades into Us and Them.Play it all the way out.

I should have mentioned the interstate should be in Tennessee...or Arkansas....or Mississippi ,or its just ain't gonna work.

One has to feel the unimpeded aloneness of it all.The lack of any civilization. The feeling you may be on a highway constructed only to trap you and take you to places unitended by your noodle. What will happen is your vehicle will go on autopilot. It will cruise at 90...following any twist and turn in the road without revenge.Your conscious mind will follow the notes and bring to the top things you wonder about...as well as things you don't wonder about.

You will start wondering about both sets.

It has a very calming influence if not revealing.

It can also offer great inspiration.

When it ends you will wonder where you have been as well as where you are at the moment.

You will panic as you realize you cannot account for the better part of the last hour and have no idea where you are in the present.

You will be very angry with me for following this suggestion.

But when your senses return and your logical mind returns;well then you won't.

The book is called Ghost Hunters.

Yes,it is.

Takes a different approach...not your usual crazy stuff.Through about one fifth of the thing. Real stuff.About scientists who were intrigued and not blind....and who were thereby castigated by their bonehead black and whites.

These guys thought some of the unexplained paranormals would perhaps lead to a clearer explanation of God..and obviously proof of an after life.

So far ...it's so good.

And the little snot face who likes to type---You don't always get what you want, sometimes...you get what you need.

Oh really?

If truth is what you really want, then when you find it---you got what you wanted.

I think this is life....truth.Knowing what that is.

For instance:

Oh shut up...had I gone with my newly discovered lucky number 8, which is doing quite well, I would have been drinking the wine instead of stomping the grapes.

I've been here 7 years.

The pills don't work anymore.

I hate this place.

I'm thinking He purposely gave us the power of thought not soley to question His existence, but to find out more...which is the result of questioning His existence...for some. That may make more sense.

The thing I don't get is why couldn't He just be more out in the open with regard to the Bible? As far as I'm concerned the Bible is a collection of hard spun stories written by men who well may have had an axe to grind...an agenda to push...a wallet to fill.( This is before CapOne,remember)

Yet there is not one writing by God...not one.Only writings passed along by man.

Man is not to be trusted...ask any dog.

The answer is hidden in the universe and in our minds.Oh I don't know the answer, but I think there are many hints out there.Hints needing follow through and discovery.

I know a lot on here are wrapped up in "facts." Facts too often veil the truth. You get caught up in facts and you can easily miss things that, while not facts, are important clues----intuitive clues, maybe.....but clues.

I don't follow why there has to be so many doorknobs. So many malcontents and nincompoops.... and fools and rotten people out there today.

If we are truthful with ourselves, the biggest disappointment through life all of us have is----people.

Not horseys---people.

And who supposedly made people?

God.

The conclusion drawn is God really has no idea what He is doing.

Or does He?

The same machine that feeds you is the same machine that will eat you.

It plays out everyday---and it's not "if you let it."

No.

And so, I am hungry.

I think I missed something that would probably require reading several pages of past posts. I choose not to.

Franny and I are siamese twins seperated shortly after birth. We definitely share the same mother!
