The Saints didn't win that game today as much as the Vikings lost it. Between the turnovers and the absolute gutless playcalling in the last 2:00 minutes they managed to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

my husband is a lifelong, diehard saints fan. so he's thrilled. but i told him that if the saints play in miami like they played today, peyton and co. will eat them for lunch. for the vikes to still be in the game after five turnovers is inexcusable. it didn't seem either team wanted the win.

What's the O/U?

Two dome teams playing outdoors and likely being highly cautious of turning the ball over sounds like a recipe for an under ... but it's not like I know what I'm talking about or anything.

I'll have no problem finding several people at the track who love the over. There goes paying the juice in my quest for a 3rd straight losing Super Bowl wager.

Your thinking is right on the money. I think you have a few points baked in there already for the squares.

My first thought was UNDER. I think the people will bet over.

I think you're on point with that thought process. I tentatively like the under

Who has Peyton Manning and a pretty decent defense?

I love Drew Brees, but I think the Colts win by at least 10 points.

I think the Colts secondary is going to have a hard time with that Saint offense. That being the case, can the colts win in a track meet with the Saints? Can any team?

Saints have shown vulnerability to the run. I really don't think the colts run well enough to exploit that and that being the case i dont think they can slow up the game sufficiently enough to keep that saint offense off the field.

The bottom line is that I think both defenses are questionable and that the saints have the more potent and balanced offense.

Give me the saints plus those 4.5. Unless of course PG takes them and then please disregard this entire post.

Wow Gregg Williams, way to get the refs ready to call your defense for anything they do to Manning right off the bat:

http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/pos...ots-on-manning

Asked if after a game that included a couple of controversial hits on Brett Favre he would talk to his defense about the potential for calls protecting Manning, he said:

“Here’s the deal. When you put too much of that type of worry on a warrior’s mind, he doesn’t play all out. If it happens, it happens. And the only thing you’d like for me to say is that if it happens you hope he doesn’t get back up and play again.”
