![]() That was a tremendously weak performance by the refs.
On the 4th and short play .... Pierre Thomas clearly was not down when he lost possession of the ball - and clearly regained possesion short of the first down marker. Not to mention a very questionable PI penalty at an extremely key point in the game.... What ever happened to letting players decide championship games? In overtime of a playoff hockey game ... you have to pretty much slash someone across the face to draw a 2 minute penalty ... I guess in overtime of a confrence championship game .. you get ticky tack PI calls if you're at home? And - for good measure - Colston trapped a ball between the ground and the side of his thigh ... and the ref refused to overturn it. I felt like I was watching the regular season of an SEC game ... |
