![]() The USFL only lasted 4 years .... and no one who played in it would remotely contend.
If anything...maybe it helped Jerry Rice because some better NFL caliber defensive players were playing in it. Not that Rice needed much help as great as he was and with Walsh as his coach and Montana and Young as his QB's. QB's td passes thrown don't count in the scoring TD category. I didn't follow it at that time ... so what the hell would I know? |

He's only 32. He still attracts the same kind of coverage he always has. Just wait until the safties start creeping up a little bit and not conceding so many easy completions to Welker and the tight ends. Hopefully that happens in the playoffs. |

He's restructured his contract before to help the team in all 3 places he has been to. I bet you if he doesn't get anything close to what he wants money wise ... he talks a team into giving him an incentive laden contract. His contract during the 16-0 season in NE was extremely incentive heavy. |

![]() How can one be expected to spell a fairy first name like Barry right?
It's just like how Vol Jack gets on me for spelling Peyton's name Payton. Give your kid a sissy name ... and I'll probably spell it wrong. Notice how I've never butchered a name like Hank, Doug, or Randy? |

![]() Jim Brown was the man, and is still the man. The NFL has not produced one player that ranks with him. There's not many great things growing up in Cleveland, but seeing him play in person through much of his career was truely something special.
He was a one man wrecking ball, and if you're of defense, you're going to take a beating by him running into you.
