![]() The enigmatic, temperamental George Washington has drifted to a backable price given that he is probably the best horse in the race, and I'm playing him at 2.95/1. Backed Proclamation earlier in the week e/w at 9/1. Also backing Araafa to place at evens.
On the other hand Librettist is FAR too short, and I'm laying him. |

We got Gorgeous George today, George Washington by far the best, proving himself an exceptional miler, and clearly the best in Europe. Both the Godolphin horses were well stuffed, Proclamation only just beting Librettist who beat only the pacemaker home. I'll watch the race a few more times and get back to you with my thoughts. Needless to say I'll be waxing lyrical about the winner. |
