http://www.derbytrail.com/forums/sho...219#post596219 Oh Charlie Boy... http://www.pedigreequery.com/oh+charlie+boy Dr. Judson L. Butler... http://www.nyhr.org/ Dr. Judson L. Butler, New York Horse Rescue founder and veterinarian, died on Sunday December 6, 2009. In July, while working at Belmont Racetrack as a veterinarian, he was injured by a loose horse, fracturing his cervical vertebrae. The injury resulted in surgery and grave complications. “Jud” leaves behind a 5 year old son, a 9 year old daughter, and a wife. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Dr. Butler dedicated the last 15 years to rehabilitating ex-racehorses and helping them find new homes. His lifelong passion was horses and he always tried his best to help horses in need. He will be missed by the equine community. Dr. Butler asked that memorial donations be made in his honor to New York Horse Rescue, PO Box 435, Manorville, NY 11949 or http://www.nyhr.org/donate. |
