Final trivia question.

There were 8 different horses in the 90's to win 12 North American Graded Stakes or more. Six were female and two were male. Name them.

the two males are easy- Skip Away and Cigar.

the females are much tougher, although I know Silverbulletday is one of them.

No for Cigar - he only had 11.

Yes for Skip Away (16) Silverbulletday (13) and Sky Beauty (13)

I just checked and count 13 for Cigar, am I wrong on a grading somewhere? Mass Cap not graded those years or something?

yup, just looked up the Mass Cap history and it wasn't run between 1990-1994, obviously losing its grade. They brought it back specifically to lure Cigar.

same thing with that Citation race at Arlington. He really should have 3 extra.

Best Pal should have an extra as well ... the Pacific Classic wasn't graded for him when he won it.
