Whobegotyou to win but it's bordering on disturbing how many horses I love and will root for in the Cox Plate. One of the greatest fields evah! G/l El Segundo , Zipping (no shot but who cares), dearest Sir Slick (come home safe), NdJ, etc.

There is a whole bunch of mediocrity in this field: the markets are saying that it is basically a two-horse race between Whobegotyou and Heart of Dreams.

At $21, Road To Rock looks like a roughie to use.

Enjoy the race.
Hmmmmmmmm,Bottom of the list ? two horse race ?....

Everyone is allowed their opinion but i will now show were youve made a few errors.
Two Horse Race ?.SPEED GIFTED (GB) & ROCK KINGDOM & SO YOU THINK
Might have a few things to say about that, it's just whobe is a exceptional horse like sunline in her day.
The Field is 14 the most that has contested this race in along time!!!
The Big El is Washed up, 2 years past his prime ?
He has had serious leg injury & colin little said we are nursing him for the cox plate his coat & condition are exellent as opposed to 3 weeks ago you havnt seen el @ his best yet so i wouldnt be surprised if he enters the mix after all he is a mooney valley speacialist.

In the wrap up there will be winners & Losers who ever wins will go into history & whoever loses will fade into dust Like all Great races.
But Quote this Cox Plate field is at the bottom of the list for the last decade Unquote ,I don't think so!!!

If I were to come up with a dream field that I'd like to see, this one would come close.

Not going to fight or even debate... surely you've followed the game for longer and we each are entitled our opinions.

I am so excited about this race, I can't even tell you. I'm at a loss as to how anyone could call this star studded field mediocre.

Sorry that it's disappointing to you. I hope you do well tonight.

I shall be cheering and jumping up and down, crying if Sir or El do well and loving every damned second of the crappy coverage on TVG.

Cheers!

Good luck everyone and come home safe, kids.

For the record I meant a dream field of horses in training, present day.

Yes 2005 was wonderful (God she was brilliant) and being a fan of FOO so were his wins.

Quite a few have won this race twice... maybe El can do it (???).

edit - What are the odds on Black Piranha right now??? Hmmm.....
