reminds me of a story my husband told me some time ago.
he called his brother stupid. his mother told him to apologize. so he did. i'm sorry you're stupid he said... the pope reminded me of that. he didn't say i'm sorry that i used the words of someone who accused your prophet of being cruel and inhuman to make my point. he said i'm sorry they misunderstood what he was saying. pfffft.

ok..so if he "half - assed apologized, does that mean that "papal infallability"
no longer applies?
