I didn't have the pace all that fast.
There was a stretch headwind that day ... which distorts the relationship between 9f and 10f somewhat. You also had a drying out main track .. it would be interesting to know if the track super and his crew played around with it while the turf race was run prior.

Does anyone else here think It's A Bird will be the wisguy 2nd choice this weekend, fresh off of last weekend's Wolfson win? Personally I don't like this horse at all and really I tried making a case for some horses but RA should have no problems this weekend, if she does she isn't the filly most think she is.

Where I am with that figure is that I believe that it's correct but I don't believe it's legit, if that makes any sense. Sometimes, the situation and conditions can lead to something that you couldn't predict even with the results in hand but something you're not likely to see again. Same with Midway Road's 124 and Bellamy Road's 120.
